♡ skincare on a budget (under £5) ♡

September 22, 2018

Let’s be honest, skincare is expensive. It can cost an arm and a leg to have a goos skincare routine and it can be filled with so many different products that your skin probably doesn’t need but you don’t realise it. But skincare doesn’t have to be expensive.

I was looking in my skincare cabinet and was thinking about all the drugstore skincare I’ve got I use. It’s all mainly drugstore, it works for me and it’s affordable. What better thing then to share it with you guys?

To start with for a cleanser, I have so many and they’re all so different but a drugstore one I always go back to is Garnier Natural Rose Water Cleansing Milk for Sensitive Skin and it’s only £3.50! This is so gentle and soft with a gorgeous smell and it just keeps my skin looking and feeling refreshed.

Next for a toner, the one I love is the simple kind to skin soothing facial toner. It’s free of all chemicals & it really soft on your skin, helping it feel refreshed and ready to moisturise! It’s just a staple product at an incredible drugstore price of £3.50.

Finally onto moisturiser, you can keep this so basic, the one I like is the boots own brand. This is one you know will work, it’ll be gentle and not packed with chemicals so it won’t harm your skin. It’s a cooling, refreshing and scent free moisturiser - I gave it to my little sister as she’s starting to try out skincare and she loves it. I got it on a 3 for 2 offer so I’m not sure if the price.

Onto other skincare other then your basis routine, another thing you can get super cheap that are really good are packet facemasks! They’re usually always under £2 and places like Superdrug’s own and anatomicals sell them. They can be used like 3 times and I really like them.

Just because you’re on a budget or not willing to splash the cash, doesn’t mean you can’t get good skincare for super cheap that works! It’s all about looking around, trying new things and hearing your friends recommendations!
