♡ 2018 beauty favourites ♡

December 27, 2018

Well another years over and it doesn’t feel like 2 minutes ago since I was say writing this post then! The years been a good one for beauty, there’s been so many new releases and formulas to try. I have to say in the past year.

I haven’t tried much new makeup as I had last year as I’ve found products I love and use every day. But the new products I’ve tried have all been amazing and I had to share them. They’re my new holy grails and I think everyone needs to try them

Starting with foundation, I’ve fallen I love with the clarins everlasting foundation. My auntie gave me this and it’s just one if the best foundations I’ve ever tried. It’s got a thick texture but not on the skin, full coverage that lasts all day. It’s everything you’d want in a foundation.

Following it with concealer this will be no surprise to anyone. The makeup revolution conceal and define broke the internet when it came out and pretty much everyone is obsessed with it. It’s got amazing coverage at the drugstore price and had little creasing. It’s perfect! It complryli deserves the hype it gets.

This isn’t a new favourite but recently my Charlotte tilbury lipsticks have been my go to for the second end of the year. I wore them before but not this much and I’ve no idea why! They are the best lipsticks ever, with such a creamy formula that lasts and feels so nice to wear all day. I love the shade range they have.

In February my mascara game was changed. My auntie treated me with the Benefit bad gal mascara and I’ve never looked back. This does amazing things to my lashes - makes them thicker, voluminous and whispy. It’s the only mascara I use now and I’ve gotten all my friends into it, I couldn’t use any other now.

P Finally Is something I’m just late to the band wagon trying is the Mac fix x and it’s changed my makeup game. It’s so universal I can use it to wet my brushes, stop my makeup looking cakey and freshen up my face. I think it’s such a little luxury product to use as it smells amazing and works so well.

Well that’s a wrap for 2018 on my blog and it’s been a year. I’m so thankful how much I’ve grown and how I’ve had so many opportunities. I’ve been able to do so much I never expected to. Trying so these new products had been a blessing and I can’t wait to do it next year.

  4. Some lovely products here, it's good to have favourites and you have a good small collection! For me, I haven't tried any of these, I'm not the biggest fan of make-up. 2018 sounds like a good year, all the best for 2019.

  5. MAC Fix + is a must have. I'd love to try CT lipsticks, but haven't bought any yet. Just recently ordered her pressed powder, and I can't wait.
I'm one of the 3 people on the planet who don't like the MUR concealer lol
    Great products still!

  9. Hey there!
I'm curious about the Revolution concealer. My first impression of Revolution was their eyeshadows and I wasn't impressed. But I heard good things about the concealer and I might have to try it !

  10. I'm useless at makeup but I love your blog. I've become attached to Younique concealer and foundation this year.
For Christmas the kids bought me Too Faced Diamond Highlighter so if you've used it and gave tips a blog post I'd appreciate it.

  13. I also adore Revolutions Concealer! It covers up all my blemishes and I can make the little bottle last for ages! I really want to try Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks, I may even treat myself to one in the next couple of weeks. This year I'm going to try and find my holy grail make up as I'm always swapping and changing!
