♡ new in skincare I’m loving ♡

October 07, 2019

The weather outside is getting colder and I really notice the effect this has on my skin. My skin gets so much dryer as the season change so I always find it’s the perfect opportunity to try new products.

At the minute I am out quiet a hunt for new skincare - I just want to try more products and broaden my use! I’m trying to keep as cruelty free and harmful for me face as I can and so far I’ve found some amazing products.

I struggle so much with face washes - I always react to them! My sister has been using a new one and I decided to try it and it’s made such a difference. The Dermalogica clear start breakout clearing foaming wash has helped keep my skin so much at bay. I still do have hormonal acne and this has just stopped it from coming so much and it’s making such a difference to my confidence. This really is a gem if you suffer with acne.

I’ve wanted to start using face oils and I’ve discovered such an affordable gem. I’ve tried the Superdrug vitamin mask and I love it so I went to try the facial oil and it’s blown me away. It has such a light texture that absorbs into the skin and helps me look so glowy and hydrated my skin!! This will help me so much though the colder months.

Along with hydrating my skin, I needed a new exfoliater as much old one wasn’t found what I wanted for my skin so I though I’d try the The body shop seaweed pore cleansing exfoliator. This does exactly what it says - it exfoliates leaving your skin so smoother and also helps reduce black heads! I didn’t think it would work as well but it amazed me how good my skin looked after I used it.

I think lips are a major skincare step that people can overlook. I know I get such dry lips and the cold weather doesn’t help, but the best thing I’ve ever came across is the Elisabeth Arden 8 hour lip balm. This is so strong and moisturising it has pretty much saved my lips.

There’s nothing I love more finding new products that work really well - I want to share them all!! I really think all of these things are amazing and have helped me over the past few months I’ve been slowly trailing them. I’m always on the look for new skincare and the more affordable the better!

And great tip about lips, I always get really dry lips so I'll have to check out the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip balm, I keep reading such rave reviews about it! x

  5. I always struggle with regularly using lip balms... they tend to make my lips dry and flaky if I cut down on them. Like the sound of the BodyShop exfoliator though – may have to pay them a visit!
