The uk can be such a beautiful city if you give it a chance, I know I have been to some beautiful cities and loved it there - and more people should go to them too! Not many places are looked to see their beauty but it’s there and I love seeing it - the way they decorate the city and what’s in it.
Nothings better then getting the train on a nice sunny day to a new city centre, going shopping and doing things that city offers - I love doing it and I can’t wait to carry on in the summer. It helps me explore so much.
I’m going to start with the most local one, York. The city of the Vikings (and extremely pretty shops). This is such a lovely big city that I’ve been to a few times and had lovely days out. the city centre is gorgeous and full of shops and lovely places - especially the stone streets! It’s also got a lot of historical sights and place to visit too. I love the city itself I think it’s beautiful and I lovely place to be.
Next is quite the opposite - a seaside city! Not many people know about is withernsea. My nans had a caravan there and all though my childhood and even teenager years I’ve visited here atleast 2-3 times a year and I love it - feel like I know it like the back of my hand. It’s such a lovely, small closed place I enjoy going to and I think more people should give it a weekend trip to.
Harrogate is such a lovely city. It’s where my auntie lives so I’ve been going a lot and I’m loving it, I feel like there’s so much character - there’s little independent stores that surround the city making it so enjoyable to discover and less high retail stores, it’s full of outdoors places to visit and gardens so it’s the perfect summer city to do and see, experience for all its beauty. I enjoy spending days there and finding new things to do and see - they’re so many of them!!
Going to finish this with the classic, the capital city - London. I couldn’t not include how amazing this city is. I am in love with it and if I could I’d live there. There’s so much to do, to see and just embrace in the city itself the possibilities are endless and I don’t think I even need to say anything about it.
There are so many more places I wanna visit in the uk, these are just some of my favourites! I would love to explore my own country more on city breaks and going to see the beauty they hold! I hopefully will in 2019 and be able to share more with you
