♡ favourite cruelty free skincare ♡

March 09, 2019

It’s 2019 and it’s beyond me why companies still test on animals. It’s wrong on so many levels. I can’t wait till one day it’ll be banned all together. I wanted to shine a light on some amazing brands who don’t test on animals because there are so many brands out there that don’t and have amazing products which deserve love and using them is keeping the bunnies safe. If you want to find out cruelty free brands, the cruelty free kitten helped me so much! https://www.crueltyfreekitty.com/skincare/cruelty-free-skincare-brands/

I’m going to start with lips because they’re skincare too! I love my burt’s bee’s peppermint Lip balm as its such an amazing, natural and hydrating lip-balm which helps my lips so much in the winter weather. The peppermint also makes my lips tingle which I love so much so I use this almost everyday to help hydrate my lips and knowing the brand are doing well I love supporting them

For a face wash, I’ve been using the kiehl’s ultra facial cleanser as this is such a gentle cleanser, which is perfect for my sensitive skin and it is gel based so it just gets rid of any dirt and oil on my face. I love how the brand are sustainable, recycle and use natural skincare so being able to use a product that works well and support an amazing brand really helps

For a cream based cleanser, I love the Elmis balancing lime blossom cleanser. This had the softest nicest scent and leaves my skin feel so good! It’s like a lovely luxury product I get excited to use as it gets all my makeup off, smells divine and my skin is left completely clean.

For a toner, I am really loving the the body shop British Rose Petal-Soft Gel Toner. This is so different to any toner I’ve used as it’s gel based and I’ve noticed how softer and more hydrated my skin has been using it! It’s alcohol free and the ingredients are from an organic community trade in Mexico

Knowing a brand is Cruelty free makes me want to support it more! These amazing products are so good and deserve to have do much recognition for the brand and the product itself!

  3. I really don't like that we test on animals. There are other methods than to make animals suffer. I love Burt's Bees. They're all around good and love how their products feel. I still need to check out Kiehl's! Thanks for sharing these faves :).

  5. I love Burt's bees products, their lip balms are lovely and quite addictive! I like the sound of the body shop toner, haven't heard of a gel one before.
I changed my skincare to Lush products, because they are cruelty free and semi-natural. Have noticed a big difference with my skin. Although it is pricey to renew!

    Thanks for sharing!

  7. This is so great! I love the fact it's all cruelty free. I really need to try this Burts Bees lip balm because my lips get so dry all year round and then I bite them when I'm stressed so they're constantly in a bad way.

    Great products and great post!

  9. Oh I 100% agree! Knowing some poor animal suffered for a product to reach me puts me right off. That's why I love kbeauty - it's illegal to test on animals in Korea so Korean made products are all cruelty-free!
