♡ routine to a successful post ♡

May 28, 2019

Writing posts is hard. Writing them day in, down out is such a task and it can come repetitive when trying to get as much content written on your blog to such a high standard in a little amount of time

. I’ve been thinking a lot about how I write posts and there’s a lot like a list that helps. I love lists and I’ve found there are steps to success, a routine to create a successful post. It’s so exciting but it’s really lengthy and has to be perfect so steps help it. As I’m going I just mentally tick it off in my head and it helps.

When it comes to writing posts you need to get your content. What’s the post about? Deciding a genre and planning it all out before you even start writing is so important. I make sure all my posts have a plan, a structure about them so I know exactly what I’m writing about in them and I’ve done this with this post too. This helps so much as I know what the post will be about so I can see what take I wanna go with it

Then it’d all about writing the post! It makes it so much easier when you when you’ve a plan and writing becomes enjoyable, like a second nature and it just flows. This is my favourite part about blogging as it’s like it comes naturally and I feel like I’m talking with my friend as I love it so much. I do enjoy writing posts and when I know what I’m writing it help.

Then it goes to photos. My photos are not the best at all but I’m working on it. I love taking blog photos and I’m trying to improve mine - adding the creativity and a visual to your work is amazing. I love creating flatlays and matching things together. Photos are so exciting as you can be as creative as you want and put so many different props together

Finally, the post is ready to go up so once it’s the time you just post it! To help grow your blog you need to promote your posts so much - I personally use twitter the most as that’s my largest traffic source and I love doing it! Promoting though twitter has helped my blog grow so much. I love sharing my posts so people can see.

Once all these are ticked off, in my eyes a post is successful and I’m really happy with it! I keep my posts to all such a high standard and only try post the best and what makes me happy - I really love blogging and I aspire to just post the best content!

  13. I try to structure posts because my brain starts going off on so many tangents if I don't - I physically handwrite a lot of stuff because that is easier for me than taking my laptop everywhere and also then I can keep up with my brain and edit harshly when I come to typing up XD I then get so sad for all the sentences and paragraphs that didn't make the final cut.
