♡ pamper essentials ♡

May 11, 2020

During lockdown the one thing I’ve had so much time to do is pamper myself. I don’t know about anyone else, but not I’ve had nothing but free time and it is actually been so refreshing on my mental health to be able to just do things for myself and tick off so many things I’ve needed doing for awhile.

This is finally been a chance for me to be able to relax and take some time for me, A time or mail to look after myself and help myself feel better - being the best version of myself. Honestly I feel like a different person. It has given me the opportunity to dedicate full nights to looking after me And I wanted to share some of my favourite pump of products that help me feel the best in lockdown.

Pampering for me is always started with a long hot bath. Nothing feels better than the bathroom been all steamy smelling amazing and just lay in the hot water. Writing this is really making me out to run myself a bath now. My favourite products to use in the bath are my lush rose jam shower gel, this is the most divine shower gel I’ve ever smelt and I will always go back and purchase it! Before I start slowly and I always put a hair mask on and leave it while I do exfoliation. At the minute I’m still loving the L’oreal elvive dream lengths long hair mask. I love this rain since I came out and this is my second of these masks I’ve bought it does wonders for my hair and it’s such an affordable price.

For exfoliation I always use my Sanctuary spa cream exfoliator as it’s a such a creamy consistency and isn’t too harsh on my skin, yet again holding a beautiful smell. I make sure to exfoliate at least three times a week to keep my skin smooth. Then when I get out of my bath I follow it by using the lush sleepy body cream. This is one of the most silkiest and smoothe yet amazing smelling moisturiser I’ve used, I always get compliments from my family after I’ve use this as a smell lasts and my skin feels so super soft. I always follow this by putting some cosy pyjamas on and fluffy socks to let moisturiser soak in. I’ve got out my bath and have moistured my body I always go onto skincare.

If you read my blog you will know how much I love skincare. I sent to choose between exfoliating which I do twice a week or a mask as I feel like my skin has had time to breathe due to the steam from the bath and I wanna products to be used full potential. This night I chose to use my Orgins original skin retexturing mask with rose clay. This is like luxury for my skin as it exfoliates and helps me looking fresh and glowy. This is a mask will definitely be purchasing once I’ve used it as it’s become a firm favourite. then after I’ve use my mask I will finish my skincare routine off by toning and using a serum, then use a thick moisturiser on my Superdrug vitamin E facial oil.

Then my pamper night usually ends with by getting into bed with a mint tea and watching modern family. This has been my go to at least once a week for a lockdown and it’s made me feel good about myself and help just motivate me to do something giving me time away from school work and the chance to look after myself. I tend to do on Thursdays and every week I’ve looked forward to this night as it does make a difference my mood because self-care is really needed even if we are just in the house at the minute.

  3. I love Lush Sleepy Cream! I actually use it as a hand cream every night when I get in bed, because my hands get really dry, and it also helps me get to sleep as I can smell it on my hands. I bought the Rose Jam shower gel for my mum's birthday last year but I have never tried it myself. I might pick one up next time I am in Lush.

  6. You can't go wrong with Lush - I am a huge believer in that! Sadly, I'm officially out of bath bombs. I can't wait for this whole situation to pass and our life to return to 'normal' somewhat (including normal incomes, etc) so that I can stock back up!

  7. Ohhh I love a god pamper night routine. I haven't tried lush before but I keep hearing such good things about their products that I'm definitely tempted to head out and buy their products. I've personally been slacking a bit on my self-care so this was a good reminder of how important it is to do things that make you feel nice and good about yourself. Especially in this time.
